Marine Science Kayak Camp

Designed for youth ages 8-11.
Our Marine Science Kayak day camp is offered through Gateway School's Summer
Program and is taught by Kim Powell, a professional marine educator and
ACA certified sea kayaking instructor. Each day offers a new educational adventure along the
spectacular California Coast.
Field trips include:
Tidepooling at Natural
Bridges,
Long's Marine Lab, Davenport Landing, Ano Nuevo State Reserve,
Kayak skills/safety instruction and a Kayak Expedition to Elkhorn Slough.
