Our Latest Creature Feature: Fat Inn Keeper Worm

Burrowed down in the mudflats of Elkhorn Slough lives the Fat Inn Keeper Worm

To feed, it casts out a slimey net from its muddy burrow where it hosts a variety of commensal critters


Did you know that Vultures dine on the rotting carcasses of diseased animals, thus preventing the spread of life-threatening diseases such as rabies and anthrax? Can you imagine how smelly and diseased ridden our world would be without vultures?
