Since your package includes a hotel on July 19th, we hope that you will plan a later afternoon departure on the July 20th. We encourage everyone to visit the incredible Polar Bear Research and Conservation Center at the Leatherdale International Polar Bear Conservation Centre in Winnipeg.
This extremely informative educational center is part of the Assiniboine Park and opens at 9:00am.
Admission into the park is less than $20 and is well worth it. Those who wish to visit the park may share Ubers or taxis from our Hotel in Winnipeg.
We suggest that you allow at least 2 1/2 hours or more to explore Assiniboine Park and its world renown Polar Bear exhibit. Please consider a flight back home on July 20th after 2:00pm or later allowing enough time to explore this educational park and polar bear center. Another option is to extend your stay in Winnipeg or arrive a few days early into Winnipeg. The Canadian Museum for Humans Rights is a fascinating and informative museum in the heart of Winnipeg.
