Our adventure officially begins at the Churchill Airport on July 17th which will require that you overnight in Winnipeg, Canada on July 16th or earlier on your own. Please review our suggestions for hotels close to the Winnipeg Airport at Accommodations
When instructed by us, you will book a round trip ticket from your home airport to Winnipeg, Canada arriving anytime on July 16th or earlier and departing on the afternoon of July 23rd or later. We suggest departing after 2:00pm on July 23rd.

Book a round trip ticket from Winnipeg (TWG airport code) to Churchill (YYQ airport code) departing on July 17th on Calm Air Airlines and returning to Winnipeg on July 22nd, 2026
To secure your flight into Churchill from Winnipeg, complete the form that you will receive from Kim Powell and email to: northstartoursinfo@gmail.com, an outfitter in Churchill that is helping to coordinate our arrival into Churchill. Book Winnipeg (YWG) on July 17th departing at 8:00am and arriving into Churchill (YYQ) at 10:30am Calm Air flight.
For your return to Winnipeg on July 22nd book Calm Air Fligh leaving Churchill (YYQ) at 7:30pm and arriving into Winnipeg at 10:00pm
This will require that you overnight in Winnipeg on July 22nd and your hotel stay that night is included in your package.
Since your Blue Water Ventures tour includes a hotel stay on July 22nd, we hope that you will plan a later afternoon departure on the 23rd. We encourage everyone to visit the incredible Polar Bear Research and Conservation Center at the Leatherdale International Polar Bear Conservation Centre in Winnipeg.
This extremely informative educational center is part of the Assiniboine Park and opens at 9:00am.
Admission into the park is less than $20 and is well worth it. Those who wish to visit the park may share Ubers or taxis from our Hotel in Winnipeg.
We suggest that you allow at least 2 1/2 hours or more to explore Assiniboine Park and its world renown Polar Bear exhibit. Please consider a flight back home on July 23rd after 2:00pm or later allowing enough time to explore this educational park and polar bear center. Another option is to extend your stay in Winnipeg or arrive a few days early into Winnipeg. The Canadian Museum for Humans Rights is a fascinating and informative museum in the heart of Winnipeg.
