if you are joining us on our Whales, Dolphins & Missions~Loreto Extension, arrange a one way flight into San Jose Del Cabo(SJD) on February 16th and a one way flight back home from Loreto (LTO) on February 27th, 2025

On past trips, most clients arrive via San Jose Del Cabo (SJD airport code) which is serviced by a variety of airlines.
If flying via San Jose Del Cabo, we recommend that you arrange a flight that arrives into San Jose Del Cabo no later than 3:00pm as the transfer to La Paz will take about 3 hours after clearing customs.
An airport arrival into San Jose Del Cabo before or around 1:30pm is ideal allowing you to join our private van shuttle to La Paz.
Our group will gather for dinner at 7:00pm on February 16th with a more formal orientation in the morning. If you arrive into San Jose del Cabo later than 3:00pm, you will miss dinner with us that night.
This first-class shuttle from San Jose Del Cabo Airport to La Paz is comfortable and reasonably priced (approximately $35 per person, one way) and is about a 3 hour drive. For the most current shuttle schedule visit: EcoBaja Shuttle. (note that prices are listed in Pesos but expect to pay approximately $40 one way). However, if you arrive later than 3:00pm you may need to catch a taxi to the bus station, then a bus to La Paz.
Important: Please hold off booking your shuttle if traveling through San Jose del Cabo on February 16th and February 25th. If enough people are traveling via San Jose del Cabo, we can help arrange a private non-stop private van between San Jose Del Cabo Airport and our hotel in La Paz. We will update you once we receive travel plans from our group members. Cost will be split among the travelers.
RETURN FLIGHT ON FEBRUARY 25th
On February 24th Day Nine, you will be back at our hotel in La Paz and you may depart any time on February 25th. Please take into consideration the travel time of 3 hours if departing from San Jose del Cabo. With that said, book a flight anytime after 1:00pm on February 25th if flying from San Jose del Cabo.

On February 24th, we will travel to the small coastal town of Loreto on the Sea of Cortez. Plan on departing from Loreto Airport anytime on February 27th.
