* Visiting “Mitad del Mundo” the “Middle of the World” which marks the equator in the historical city of Quito, Ecuador
* Enjoying a guided interpretive tour through the Charles Darwin Research Center led by our Licensed Ecuadorian Guide
* Visiting two centers dedicated to the protection and perpetuation of the Galapagos Tortoises both on Santa Cruz and Isabela Island
* Exploring the colorful waterfront port of Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island
* Enjoying 6 nights based from our waterfront accommodations on Isabela Island, steps away from our “favorite snorkeling spot”
* Snorkeling the turquoise hued water surrounding Cormorant Beach, home to the flightless Galapagos cormorant, an endemic species found only on two Galapagos islands
* Snorkeling among giant sea turtles, spotted eagle rays, juvenile sharks and colorful reef fish at the world renowned Los Tuneles, Isabela Island
* Hiking across the eerie lava formations at Las Tintoreras and Los Tuneles as we learn more about the geologic history of the Galapagos
* Exploring cultural opportunities and the flavor of Puerto Villamil on our extended land base program
* Joining a guided interpretive hike to the Sierra Negra Volcano in the highlands then meeting the local coffee farmers
