TRAVELING TO BAJA AND BACK HOME

During this special combination of activities, we will start our trip in La Paz and end our trip at Cerritos Beach  near Todos Santos. We suggest that you book a round trip flight into San Jose Del Cabo arriving on November 12th and departing on November 20th.

You might want to extend your trip and spend another day exploring Todos Santos or  its surrounding beaches. Its an interesting town to poke around in for a day. The beaches are beautiful and offer great beachcombing and boogie boarding. You may revisit the turtle beach as well.

Some women opt to arrive into San Jose Del Cabo or La Paz a day or so early which is another consideration. Its easy to catch a shuttle from San Jose Del Cabo to La Paz if you arrive early or wish to extend your stay in Baja,  please email us for suggestions.

FLIGHT OPTIONS SAN JOSE DEL CABO ON NOVEMBER 12th

You will find the best connection and airfares via San Jose Del Cabo (SJD airport code).

We recommend that you arrange a flight that arrives into San Jose Del Cabo no later than 3:00pm as the transfer to La Paz will take about 3 hours after clearing customs. If you arrive into San Jose del Cabo later than 3:00pm, that’s OK but you will miss dinner with us that first night. 

An arrival into San Jose del Cabo before or around 1:30pm is ideal allowing you to join our private van shuttle to La Paz.

Our group will gather for dinner at 7:00pm with a more formal orientation in the morning.

There are several  airlines that fly into La Paz from the San Francisco Bay Area.  The airport code for La Paz is LAP. Several clients have been unhappy with flights into La Paz that were  cancelled last minute. Perhaps you should  consult a personal travel agent if you want to fly into La Paz.

We have found good rates at Kayak.Com as well as booking directly from most major airlines into San Jose Del Cabo.

This first-class shuttle from San Jose Del Cabo Airport  to La Paz  is comfortable and reasonably priced (approximately $35 per person, one way) and is about a 3 hour drive. For the most current shuttle schedule visit: Baja Shuttle (note that prices are listed in Pesos but expect to pay approximately $35 one way). However, if you arrive later than 3:00pm you may need to catch a taxi to the bus station, then a bus to La Paz.

Important:: Please hold off booking your shuttle if traveling through San Jose del Cabo on November 20th. We may be able to help arrange a private non-stop private van from San Jose Del Cabo Airport to our hotel in La Paz.

FLIGHT OPTIONS FROM SAN JOSE DEL CABO ON NOVEMBER 20th

We arrive into Todos Santos mid morning on November 19t, giving us time to explore town and have a nice lunch before heading over to the turtle beach. 

Please arrange your flight home from Jose del Cabo anytime after noon on November 20th. A later afternoon flight will give you more time to explore the Pacific side of Baja.

You can arrange your 80 minute shuttle to the San Jose Del Cabo airport with the first bus departing at 8:00am. Again, we may be able to help arrange a private van which will be split among the group and will send you an update once we have everyone’s travel plans.
